WBRC provided concept and design for a new 8-unit and new 6-unit apartment complex, completed a year apart. Both buildings were designed to be energy efficient and require minimal maintenance. Quality finishes provide durability and give a sense of warmth to each unit. Each has wood floors, cabinets, and doors, and ample windows for daylighting and viewing. Exteriors feature a cultured stone façade, fiber-cement siding, and entry canopy.
The six-unit building is named Metaksonekiyak I, meaning “people of the Meduxnekeag river,” a tributary of the St. John River.
