WBRC has assumed a leadership role in providing scholarships for youth with an interest in the architecture and engineering disciplines.
WBRC signifies its commitment to the education of Maine’s people by setting up the “100 Year Scholarship”.

This scholarship program is twofold: (2) $250 awards will be awarded to 2 high school students, and (1) $250 award shall be provided for an EMCC student.

“This is one way for us to give back to our community,” says John Rohman, of the firm. WBRC recently awarded scholarships to two local Maine students: Grace L. Bell, a graduate of George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, and Mathew Hardison, a graduate of Lisbon High School of Lisbon Falls.
Both recipients were exceptional students, receiving high honors throughout their education careers.

The awards will be given annually, unless no suitable candidate is identified. It is encouraged that applicants pursue education in the architecture and engineering fields. After selection, the scholarship will be awarded based upon satisfactory completion of the first semester of a 2 to 4 year post-secondary educational institution with a major in architecture or engineering and a 2.5 grade point average.
