WBRC Architects Engineers is pleased to welcome Mechanical Engineer Brandon Hardy, P.E. to the team. Brandon is a graduate of the University of Maine (B.S., Mechanical Engineering). He has more than ten years of project experience across several sectors, with recent focus in healthcare and housing.
As mechanical engineer, Brandon designs and assesses mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. He specializes in code review, energy savings improvements, sizing HVAC and process equipment, and 3D modeling. Brandon’s responsibilities at WBRC will range from developing project objectives and schedules and conducting design review meetings to construction administration and project close-out.
“We are very happy to bring Brandon Hardy on board,” says WBRC Principal and Mechanical Department Manager Dan Monroe, P.E. “He comes with a combination of project experience and collaboration skills our clients will value and appreciate. The fact that Brandon is a UMaine graduate and grew up in Brewer, Maine is making his transition to the team even quicker.”
A resident of Saco, Maine, he will work primarily out of the firm’s Portland, Maine office, enabling him to serve WBRC’s clients in neighboring states.
Brandon’s most recent position prior to joining WBRC was as a Mechanical Design Engineer at DiGiorgio Associates Incorporated (DAI) of Portland and Boston. His projects at DAI include emergency department and pharmacy renovations at hospitals in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and a 4-story addition to a New Hampshire assisted living facility.
Brandon Hardy is certified by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) and is a Maine licensed professional engineer.
