Senior Architect Matthew McClenahan Joins WBRC

We are excited to welcome Matthew C. McClenahan as a Senior Architect to the WBRC design team.

A Maine licensed Architect with over three decades of experience in design and construction, Matt most recently was the Director of Design Services with HEC+Architects, a design-build arm of H.E. Callahan Construction Company. Prior to that, he spent 20 years with Harriman as a Project Architect focusing on higher education projects. Matt will concentrate on commercial, educational, and civic/government projects at WBRC.

Richard Borrelli, Portland Region Director and WBRC Senior Principal, welcomes Matt McClenahan by saying:

“Matt comes to us with a rich professional history. As an architectural student, Matt worked for his father’s construction company each summer, training under a master carpenter. That experience gave him a deep understanding of construction materials and methods, something that has served him well throughout his career.

Matt’s extensive portfolio is only matched by his number of positive relationships. Clients and colleagues appreciate his calm demeanor, his breadth of knowledge, and the sincere engagement he brings to every conversation. I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Matt to the team.”

Matt McClenahan earned a B. Arch from Roger Williams University. He brings broad design and management expertise, including signature projects for colleges, universities, school districts, and commercial property developers.
