Kris Kowal is a WBRC Principal and Project Architect with over 10 years of experience. He has engaged a diverse range of work, most recently large-scale academic, research, and cultural buildings. Kris’ work realizes inventive solutions that turn the very constraints of each project into the design trajectory, exploring opportunistic overlaps between space, program, form, budget and materials.
Kris earned a Master of Architecture degree from Syracuse University (magna cum laude), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire. He is certified in Construction Documents Technology (CDT). He is a member of the Maine chapter of AIA, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and the Society for College and University Planning.
