Architect Richard Borrelli is a Senior Principal and WBRC’s Healthcare Studio Director. He has over 30 years of experience in design management, executive leadership, and personnel mentoring. Richard specializes in facilitating planning efforts that result in institutional transformation by creating economical, functional and aesthetically attractive surroundings. He leads the Healthcare Studio’s programming, planning, and design of both renovation projects and new construction, and is responsible for maintaining client contacts, project management, and staff oversight.
Richard Borrelli is a graduate of Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning, where he earned a B. Arch and a B.S. Environmental Design. He is a member of the Maine chapter of AIA and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is an associate member of Maine Healthcare Engineers’ Society, New England Healthcare Engineers’ Society, the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), and Maine Hospital Association (MHA).
