Architect Richard Borrelli is a Firm Principal and WBRC’s Healthcare Studio Director. He has over 30 years of experience in design management, executive leadership, and personnel mentoring. Richard specializes in facilitating planning efforts that result in institutional transformation by creating economical, functional and aesthetically attractive surroundings. He leads the Healthcare Studio’s programming, planning, and design of both renovation projects and new construction, and is responsible for maintaining client contacts, project management, and staff oversight.
Richard Borrelli is a graduate of Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning, where he earned a B. Arch and a B.S. Environmental Design. He is a member of AIA-Maine and ACE Mentors of Maine, and an associate member of Maine Healthcare Engineers’ Society, New England Healthcare Engineers’ Society, Maine Health Care Association, and Maine Hospital Association. He was recently a 2016-2017 juror for the Practice + Leadership Awards, a joint program of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).
