WBRC has worked with the Belfast Area community for over a decade on a variety of school assessment and capital improvement projects. The most recent renovation, completed in Fall 2019, brings increased teaching capacity, renewal of key spaces, and a fresh aesthetic to Belfast Area High School.
The project is comprised of a 9,700 SF classroom addition, as well as a new school entry canopy and extensive renovations to existing spaces. Belfast Area High School’s two-story classroom expansion provides a new math wing and a versatile special services suite with adjoining life skills room. The addition’s exterior facade echoes existing materials, shapes, and colors, providing a harmonious yet distinctive new wing to the building.
Upgrades to Belfast Area High School’s existing facility include renovations to the cafeteria, gym, stage, locker rooms, pool, home economics room, and adult education wing. The renovation also includes a new central district office with a separate entrance.
