Retired Senior Principal and Architect Doug Whitney is WBRC’s Chair Emeritus. He served as the firm’s CEO from 2013-2022. As Chair Emeritus, Doug provides continuity and counsel, leveraging lessons learned from his 43-year career at WBRC.
Doug graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture and studied at The Architectural Association in London, England. He was named an honorary alumnus of the University of Maine in 2019. He initiated the creation of WBRC’s Lakewood Ranch Florida Branch in 2002, which he led until his 2023 retirement.
