Home Centric is a home goods store concept by Bealls Inc., which operates retail stores across the southern, western, and eastern United States. The Bealls team worked with WBRC to develop and launch this new chain of home products stores. The prototypical store, ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 SF, is designed to accommodate a constantly-evolving line of high-quality products at discount prices, from furniture to home decor. Some locations are combo stores, with Bealls and Home Centric sharing one location, such as the Bonita Springs. Florida location pictured here.
Prior to Home Centric’s official launch, Bealls tested the concept within several existing Florida store locations. The resulting Home Centric store brand, including the logo, facade, interior signage, and layout, is designed to harmonize with Bealls stores. The new brand includes upscale finishes such as stone cash wrap walls and custom flooring. Like Bealls, Home Centric offers brand name products at significant savings and is focused on the needs of customers in warm-weather states.
In addition to its recent work on Home Centric, WBRC has provided store fitout design services on over 300 projects for Bealls Stores and works on select projects for the company’s Florida-based department store, Bealls Florida.
Bealls Inc., founded in 1915, is the family-owned parent company of Bealls, Home Centric, and Bealls Florida. Headquartered in Bradenton, Florida, Bealls, Inc. is the largest private employer in Manatee County, and operates more than 500 stores in 16 states.
